Woolton Cemetery

2015-03 / Liverpool, UK

This is a cemetery in Liverpool, England where the famous "Eleanor Rigby" is buried. The Beatle boys as young lads used to skip school and hang out in the cemetery where no one would come looking for them. During their rebellion, they'd often hang out around a tombstone for a woman and her husband: John and Eleanor Rigby. The name just kind of stuck with them for years until Paul was drafting some lyrics for the song which, like all Beatles songs, would become very popular.
