Fading Green

Lampposts are one of my favourite subjects to photograph. When I was first getting interested in photography, I bought a book about night photography and many of the pictures in that book involved streetlights as a main focal point. I thought those photos were so beautiful that it just kind of became synonymous: photos and lampposts. This lamppost was one I found in Novi Sad, Serbia. I think, however, I was move impressed by the greens surrounding it and the chipping paint on the building behind.
