2016-10 / Vienna, Austria

You know, the oils on our skin causes discolouration to stone over time. The areas of a statue that are touched the most become almost black as time goes on. So, as we can see here, people are really fond of grabbing the griffon's breasts. This statue is on the grounds of the Belvedere Palace in Vienna, Austria. There are great views of the city from the top and it's next to the main train station (and the hotel I was staying in). Down the street, you can grab yourself an Almdüddler and just enjoy the sights.
